Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, work email, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you create an account.

Client and brand data: the client names, brand voice details, audience information, and content rules you add to your workspace.

Media: the photos, videos, and other files you or your clients upload, plus AI-generated derivatives (embeddings, thumbnails, captions, reels) created from that media.

Usage data: information about how you use the Service, actions like AI generations, reel renders, and publishes, which we use to enforce plan limits and improve the Service.

Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor Stripe collects and stores your payment details directly, we don't store your full card number ourselves.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to: operate and provide the Service; enforce the usage limits of your plan; communicate with you about your account (e.g. billing, security); and improve Sevorify's features. We don't sell your information or Your Content to third parties, and we don't use your uploaded media to train AI models.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following providers, only as needed to deliver the features you use: Supabase (hosts our database and file storage), Stripe (processes payments), Anthropic (generates AI captions from content you request), Shotstack (renders video reels you request), Google (if you connect Google Drive, to import media), and Meta (if you connect Instagram/Facebook, to publish content on your behalf). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only for the purpose of the feature you're using.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete Your Content and personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're legally required to retain records (e.g. billing records for tax purposes).

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted storage of sensitive credentials (like connected-account tokens) and role-based access controls so that one organization's data is never visible to another (enforced at the database level, not just in the application).

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete most of your account and client data directly within Sevorify. You can request a copy of your data or full account deletion by contacting us at hello@sevorify.com. PLACEHOLDER_REGIONAL_PRIVACY_RIGHTS (for example: specific GDPR/CCPA language if the business serves EU/California residents, this needs confirmation from the account owner about who the customer base actually includes before adding jurisdiction-specific commitments).

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Sevorify is intended for business use and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify account owners before it takes effect.
